Students enrolled at institutions of higher learning located in Louisiana may be poll workers in the parish where their institution is located if the students are registered to vote in any state and submit to the clerk a copy of their student identification or fee bill showing current enrollment as well as proof of voter registration.
Early voting work hours are from 8:30 AM until after the polls close at 6:00 PM. Parish Board of Election Commissioners will be notified for their time of work, but it typically lasts at least four hours.
