Completing a poll worker application does not guarantee placement. Actual polling place assignment is dependent on the needs of the polling place and its surrounding community. The county is always seeking workers with reliable transit and willingness to travel to any polling place within the county.
In addition to traditional poll workers, the county is also seeking for “depot workers” who help process election supplies during Election Night. Please contact the Contra Costa County Elections Office for more details on other volunteer opportunities.
