Voter Registration Requirements

Poll workers over the age of 18 must either be registered voters in California or be lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the U.S. and otherwise eligible to register to vote except for their lack of U.S. citizenship.

16-year-old students who are U.S. citizens or lawfully admitted for U.S. permanent residence. - Training Details
Yes. You must attend a training session.
In-person training typically lasts 2 to 3 hours.

The county has an Adopt-A-Poll program in which an organization provides people to work as poll workers who pledge to donate their wages to the organization. To learn more click here.
Poll workers are required to help set up their precinct on the Monday night prior to the election.
Bilingual individuals who speak English and one of the following languages are encouraged to apply: Illocano, Punjabi, Spanish, Tagalog.
Individuals who are comfortable using computers and tablets are strongly encouraged to apply.
