Poll workers over the age of 18 must either be registered voters in California or be lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the U.S. and otherwise eligible to register to vote except for their lack of U.S. citizenship.

16-year-old students who are U.S. citizens or lawfully admitted for U.S. permanent residence. - Training Details
Yes. You must attend a training session.
In-person training typically lasts 2 to 3 hours. Supplemental online training materials are also available.

Sacramento County currently has a shortage of bilingual applicants. Bilingual individuals who speak the following languages are encouraged to apply: Spanish, Chinese Manderin, Vietnamese, Tagalog (or another dialect of Filipino), Hindi, Korean, Japanese, Punjabi, Hmong, Mien, Laotian, Urdu, Telugu.
