Hours and Compensation

    6:00 AM to Approximately 9:30 PM
  • Compensation
    $255 to $300 per day. $30 per training session. $20 additional stipend for bilingual workers.

Voter Registration Requirements

  • Requirements
    Poll workers over the age of 18 must either be registered voters in California or be lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the U.S. and otherwise eligible to register to vote except for their lack of U.S. citizenship.

Work Requirements

  • Minimum Age Requirements
    16-year-old students who are U.S. citizens or lawfully admitted for U.S. permanent residence.
  • Training Details
    Yes. You must attend a training session.
  • In-person training typically lasts 2 hours. Supervisory workers must complete an additional 4 hours of training.
