Poll workers over the age of 18 must either be registered voters in California or be lawfully admitted for permanent residence in the U.S. and otherwise eligible to register to vote except for their lack of U.S. citizenship.

Yes. You must attend a training session.
In-person training is a 2-day training course for 8 hours each day. Supervisory workers must attend an additional 4 to 5 hours of training.

San Diego County is looking to hire workers to work 4 until 11 days for the days leading up to, and including, Election Day. Vote Center work is from 7:30 AM until 5:30 PM.
Supervisory workers help set up and pack up vote centers at the beginning and end of the voting period.
Bilingual Individuals who speak English and one of the following languages are encouraged to apply: Arabic, Filipino, Japanese, Laotian, Persian (Farsi and Dari), Somali, Spanish, Vietnamese, Mandarin Chinese, and Korean.
